Hello!
My name is Megan Kothrade and for the 2023-24 school year, I am the 7th grade school counselor at South Junior High! I have my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and am a Licensed Professional School Counselor for grades K-12. I am currently in my 14th year as a school counselor, and I cannot imagine doing anything else. Each day is an adventure and learning experience that I truly enjoy and look forward to.
My passion is to help students reach high levels of personal and academic achievement. I especially enjoy working with students as they discover who they are and what they stand for. Middle school is a time filled with change. My goal is to help students learn how to navigate through and rise above the challenges they may face as their world grows and evolves.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have a question or concern regarding your child's social, emotional or academic needs. I can be reached by phone, email or the contact form listed below. I look forward to hearing from you.
